Don't!
At least not the "I'm gonna join a gym and get fit this year" resolution.
Do me a favor. Instead of joining your local YMCA or Gym and taking up time on valuable equipment that I need to use, stay at home or exercise outside.
I work out all year round and get highly annoyed when, in January through usually mid March, I have to wait to get on equipment, drive around looking for parking, can't get the spinning classes I need, and clean up your sweat cause you don't know gym ettiquete.
You aren't going to stick with it so why start? You're an annoyance, a nuisance, an irritant. You don't know what you're doing. You pose more than you press iron.
Please, stay at home. You'll make me and my fellow year round athletes much happier.

If they're serious about getting fit, more power too them. If they're posing (about 95%) then they're wasting my time and theirs.
